How It Works

The GBC EZ Photo Contest is a great vehicle to support the work of your local shelter or rescue in your area.   The first thing that you will do is to contact GBC about setting up your campaign, which has several customizable features that will assist you with your special campaign.  You will be able to add your own photos or choose from a list of available shots to get started.  Several colors will be available to brand your theme, as well as customizable pages to allow editable content for:

  • homepage content
  • rules
  • prizes
  • fees
  • logo
  • auto-approval
  • optional donation

Next, EZ Photo will assist you with information on setting up your paypal account which will allow you to directly handle the processing of all donations and entry fees collected for your campaign.   The following brief screenflow presentation will allow you to walk through each of the steps required to set your campaign up to accept donations and forward to your paypal account and bank. EZ Photo will allow your campaign participants to upload photos along with additional information that you would like added to the entry.  Biographical information, and auto approval status may be determined by the campaign administrator.  Each participant will be required to make a minimum donation at the time of upload and voting which will go to the development of the shelter calendar.

At the time of setting up the parameters for your campaign, you will be able to setup the rules and all of the administrative components for your contest.  In addition, the the contest management console will allow you to view donor information and results, email and opt-in statuses, and all transactions.  You will be able to manage and monitor all aspects of your contest from the sitebuilder back-end.


For your campaign, you will create your own rules and guidelines for participants, set up donation requirements, allow for offline voting and non-voting donations, etc.
